Today, Netflix is bigger than it’s ever been with over 220 million subscribers worldwide and it has generated a massive revenue of $30 billion in 2021! With Netflix being so successful, can this success be taken into a different form of pop up restaurants?
Netflix Bites brings your favourite TV shows to life allowing you to escape into your television and experience the taste sensations that you see on screen. This creates a first-hand experience, turning your most loved comfort shows into a reality, allowing you to indulge in your favourite meal from your favourite Netflix show.
When Netflix gets behind something, we’re always interested because they do so many things brilliantly and this is tipped to be the next best thing! We’re always on the lookout for new recipes to inspire us in our kitchen and this may be the inspiration we needed!
The one and only ‘Netflix Bites’ – located in Los Angeles, CA – will be open but only for a limited period of time. It opens on the 30th June and is open 7 days of the week. Not only this but on Saturday and Sunday there will be a brunch menu from 10am till 2pm. The menu is unclear but bound to be everything and more due to the fact that top chefs will be cooking!
Here is what Netflix has to say:
Only the best when eating at ‘Netflix Bites’ as top chefs such as Chef Curtis Stone from Iron Chef will be there along with Dominique Crenn (Chef’s Table, Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend), Rodney Scott (Chef’s Table: BBQ), Ming Tsai (Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend), Ann Kim (Chef’s Table: Pizza), Nadiya Hussain (Nadiya Bakes), Jacques Torres (Nailed It!) and Andrew Zimmern (Iron Chef: Quest for an Iron Legend).
With all these chefs ‘Netflix Bites’ will be the new hit of the year!
Netflix creating a pop up restaurant is key especially due to the fact that Netflix has many competitors such as Disney +, Apple TV, Amazon Prime etc. This is a perfect method of marketing and both good for the customers and Netflix themselves. This will both increase the views of the food tv shows and bring customers to the restaurants increasing the overall viewership of the show. This will also make people remember Netflix and associate them with exciting experiences!
