It’s been a busy start to the year for the Kitchen by Liquid team, with event hosting, content creation shoots and lots of delicious recipes being whipped up.

Many people complain that January goes on for too long, but we’d be happy for it to go on forever if we get to keep experiencing Olivier’s wonderful creations. Read on to find out more!

Maple from Canada Easter shoot

On 16th and 17th January, we hosted an Easter themed (yes, we’re very organised!) foodie photo shoot in our development kitchen. With the help of Olivier, our food styling team and our content creation team, we created, styled and photographed six recipes over the two days.

Recipes included carrot tart, slow cooked Asian pork belly, baked eggs, breakfast tacos and Easter egg cups with chocolate truffles.

With our spacious development kitchen and the great natural light from our dual aspect windows, the team were able to capture some great shots to be used on our client’s website and in press activity – keep your eyes peeled for recipes going live!

Meet the Markets – Destination Queensland event

On 23rd January, our friends at the Greater Birmingham Chamber of Commerce used our event space to host their ‘Meet the Markets – Destination Queensland’ event.

The event showcased the support available for UK businesses considering investment into Australia and Liquid’s CEO, Lis, spoke about her experience and challenges of setting up business in Australia.

With the event consisting of formal talks and networking, our event space was the ideal location – offering a spacious area with seating for the talks, as well as a separate kitchen area which is perfect for serving nibbles and drinks.

Foodie content creation

In the last week of January, we had two jam-packed content creation days for our clients Maple from Canada and the North Carolina Sweetpotato Commission.

Over the two days, Olivier created some delicious recipes including maple immune-boosting pancakes, maple kombucha, sweetpotato gnocchi and sweetpotato roses.

Once created, our content team then shot some images and videos to be used across our clients’ social media channels, including Instagram and TikTok. With recipe creation videos and Reels being very popular with consumers at the moment, we’re able to utilise our development chef and kitchen to jump on these trends and create original, engaging foodie content.

If you like the sound of our kitchen offering, or would like to come and visit us to see the space for yourself, we’d love to hear from you – you can contact us here.
