Members of our food team will be on hand to help with whatever you need, whether it’s assisting with food preparation and pre-ordering ingredients, managing all recipe development and styling, or just pointing you in the right direction.

David Colcombe

Chef director

Our chef director David Colcombe has a wealth of experience in the food sector, running a succession of restaurant operations over the last 15 years, including restaurant groups within London and the Midlands. In 2015, The British Culinary Federation awarded the prestigious Louis Copolla Award to David for “the greatest contribution to the profession”. Lovingly known by the team as ‘Chef’, David heads up the food team ensuring all the work that we do for clients is perfect.

Olivier Briault

Development chef

Development chef Olivier Briault was previously head pastry chef at iconic Birmingham hotel The Edgbaston and Jacques restaurant and after a stint at Michelin-starred restaurant Simpsons was also a development pastry chef for Marks & Spencer. Olivier assists on recipe development for all of our clients and heads up ingredients sourcing and keeping our kitchen in working order.

Martha Edwards

Food account director

With over 14 years of PR experience in Birmingham, London and Dubai, Martha heads up Liquid’s food & drink division and oversees strategy, account management, press office, events, content and collateral production, including videography, photography, podcast production and food styling.

Jess Thompson

Account manager

Food and PR specialist with six years of industry experience. Jess has been trained in food styling by members of Jamie Olivier’s team and helps to manage and oversee various in-house photoshoots for Liquid’s food clients across the UK, France, Germany and Australia. She is also booked as a food stylist to work on shoots both in the Liquid kitchen and on location.
