Another day, another shoot at Kitchen by Liquid! This month we also hosted an event for young professionals in Birmingham – have a read below to what we go up to.
Maple Australia photoshoot
This month we hosted a photoshoot for our client, Maple from Canada, for the Australian market. Using pure Canadian maple syrup, our in-house development chef, Olivier, developed new ‘winter warmers’ recipes – a selection of warm, comforting and healthy recipes which are high in protein and designed for the cooler winter months in Australia, with Canadian maple syrup at their core.
The recipes include maple and peanut butter protein bites, blueberry maple protein smoothies, maple-glazed lamb chops with winter veg, maple chai latte and iced maple matcha latte.
Each dish was individually chosen to suit the Australian audience, who are passionate about coffee and maintaining a lean, healthy diet whilst tasting delicious and fresh new recipes.
These recipes will now be used by the Liquid team, as social media content and in press pitching.
Future Faces cooking demo event
Also in May, we hired out the Liquid Kitchen to the Future Faces Chamber of Commerce to host a ‘Eat Better, Feel Better’ social networking event in honour of Mental Health Awareness Week.
The event was hosted by Will Crawford, founder of mental health and wellbeing company Quietnote, and head of well-being working groups for the Future Faces committee.
As part of the event, award-winning chef, Nitisha Patel, ran a live cooking masterclass showing attendees how to cook a delicious coconut dhal. Nitisha shared advice on how to cook healthy home-cooked meals, with tips on where to get quality ingredients at lower prices. Talking to young professionals who attended the event, she explained how eating home-cooked meals can save money, improve mental health and help you focus more while at work.
Our kitchen served as the perfect backdrop for this event, for attendees to learn new cookery skills, network and enjoy Nitisha’s delicious coconut dhal.
