August was a month of culinary innovation and charitable spirit at Kitchen by Liquid. Our space was bustling with activity, hosting two distinctive events that showcased our commitment to community and sustainability.

Foodcycle Charity Teambuilding

In August, we welcomed FoodCycle for an engaging charity teambuilding series. FoodCycle is a charity that connects communities through shared meals and conversations. It aims to tackle food poverty, loneliness, and waste while promoting healthy, sustainable living and well-being. Participants took on a Ready Steady Cook-inspired challenge, creating mouthwatering meals from surplus food. Known as Food Invention Challenges, the teams competed by blending creativity with sustainability to craft dishes that supported FoodCycle’s community meals across the UK.

Our venue provided the perfect place for this inspiring initiative, which aligns with FoodCycle’s mission to combat food waste and feed those in need. Each session featured up to 12 participants who, through their culinary creations, helped raise crucial funds for FoodCycle’s essential services.

Goatsbridge Trout Photoshoot

August also saw a photoshoot for our client, Goatsbridge Trout, a family-run Irish trout farm renowned for its high-quality produce and sustainable fishing practices. Our kitchen transformed into a dynamic studio, capturing the new Hot Smoked Trout Fillet in all its glory. These images will enhance Goatsbridge’s website and marketing materials and will be shared with retail partners such as Sainsbury’s.

With a legacy spanning over 800 years, Goatsbridge continues to produce premium trout from the crystal-clear waters of The Little Arrigle River.

August was a testament to our kitchen’s versatility, supporting both charitable causes and showcasing sustainable food practices. We look forward to more events that blend creativity, community, and culinary excellence.
