The Christmas bells were ringing in our development kitchen in December, and we were busy hosting events, photoshoots and Christmas parties – read on to hear all about it!
Maple from Canada photoshoot
On 12th December, we hosted a foodie photoshoot in the development kitchen for Maple from Canada Australia. Our development chef, Olivier, crafted six maple-infused food and drink recipes and then brought them to life, ready for them to be photographed and used in Maple from Canada’s marketing in Australia.
Recipes included maple sticky morning buns, maple Lamingtons, maple ice cream sandwiches, maple espresso martinis, maple and chilli margaritas, and white chocolate, macadamia and maple blondies.
Using our versatile kitchen space and experienced, in-house food team, we were able to create, shoot and style all six recipes in one day. Keep an eye out for the recipes going live!
On 14th December, we welcomed HIT to our kitchen breakout space, which was used to provide training for its team members.
Although our kitchen space is available to hire as a package, we’re able to provide bespoke bookings for those who would only like to use one element of the space – like HIT did.
What’s more, Olivier treated the HIT team to some lunch, creating a roast chicken and cous cous salad with pavlova for dessert.
On 14th December, our kitchen space was also used for our annual Christmas staff party. In the afternoon, Olivier whipped up some delicious homemade pizzas with toppings including roasted vegetables, pepperoni and chicken.
The celebrations were then taken to our event space which saw the whole team come together for an evening of socialising and gift-giving. Our event space is perfectly set up for events like this, with the kitchen island offering a great social space for serving food and drinks.
